Hi all,

I have just launched my kickstarter, A collection of 3D printer .STL files designed to create a terrain setup for wargames. the prints are designed to be completed with no support material and at a scale especially suitable for Warhammer 40k.

Love the train!

Not remotely interested in trying to print all those pieces, though. I'd be far more keen on a resin version.

sadly i'd need this project to fund in order to be able to cast anything in resin but it's an idea for sure! i do have some experience of casting so it's not out of the question.

Have you thought about a merchant tier level for 3D printing services?

Nice. You actually achieve what many garish terrain 3d print KS's don't; which is making the stuff look believable as functional places.

Too pricey for my taste (I'd have bitten immediately at a £20 all in and considered anything up to £40), but I wish you the best of luck!

Well that is some lovely terrain. Fits the 40k aesthetic very closely.

Had I a 3d Printer then i'd be all in on this project. As it stands though, I can only wish you the best of luck in getting your funding!

I LOVE the Hero memorial and shrine, but don't play 40k.

Any chance of giving them a fantasy touch up for a future kickstarter to give them A Greco-Roman/Aquilonian (a kingdom from Conan the barbarian's setting) flavor to the iconography?

Edit: I would also love to see fully intact, unruined versions of both!

Finally a dev who understands the 40K architechtural aesthetic!

Unfortunately I don't have a 3D printer (yet), but am going to be following your development as castings of this stuff would interest me greatly.

Thank you all for the kind words, at the moment there isn't much uptake on the project so I'm not sure what i'd do going forward with other projects, it's a lot of work putting one of these together!

It's hard to compete in this field, supply is outpacing demand and many artists can charge less simply due to being somewhere with a lower cost of living. Good luck.
