I came across these recently and wondered if anyone has has any experience with similar products on resin printers. The uses seem pretty apparent, especially for the odd support-free mini or base I print where not printing flat on the plate necessitates supporting a piece that 'shouldn't' need it. And just less chance of damaging the plate with the scraper or razor blade on particularly stubborn prints. At the same time though, I'm not sure about the magnetic plate and how it'd work with peel forces and such, whether it'd give wobbly prints or even fall away completely and cause a godawful mess.

Link for reference: https://www.amazon.co.uk/135x75mm-Flexible-Magnetic-Compatible-Monoprice/dp/B08RHJCG6C/ref=pd_rhf_gw_p_img_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=FJ835TKEMXVH0JF36F6V

Any h thoughts? I'm not sure whether it's a useful innovation, largely a gimmick with fringe applications or a complete disaster waiting to happen.

My thoughts on this product is that it could work.. However how long until the build plate is warped.

Warped by what? If it's the same kind of spring steel that Prusa uses for its build plates then you would need to be using tools to crease it.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Use them on both my printers and have to say. It’s foolish that it’s not standard. It’s that nice when done correctly.
