Hey folks. New to AoS. I'm looking at the Cities of Sigmar battletome and find many of the multi-racial army configurations a bit unappealing, but I do find a mixed army of Druchii and Humans intriguing.

Is it possible to create a 2000 point list of only Druchii and Humans that has decent synergy and can be moderately competitive in a casual setting?

I've started looking at Druchii boxes but am looking for something that can work with the boxes of Freeguild troops that I haven't yet assembled.

20 Great Swords
30 Militia
1 Freeguild General
4 Battle Wizards

Is there anything I can throw together to make this work?

Yes, it is doable. But doing mono-race can be viable as well. The dark elf roster even got a specific allegiance; Anvilguard was conquered by Morathi in the Broken Realms book of the same name and is now Har Kuron, complete with its own allegiance. Are you specifically looking to do mixed race or looking to do an old-style dark elf army?
