Seems like I see a lot of posts like mine here. I usually play 40k, but a friend of mine is getting back into the hobby and he wants to play AoS. Here's my question, I have a fairly sizeable Khorne Daemon force for 40K (yes, I hate myself), with a detachment of Tzeentch to give some psychic and shooting powers. In looking at the AoS stuff, it doesn't look like Daemons are their own force, so I'm just wondering, does it work for a Khorne force to have the daemons as the main bulk of your army and then fill it out with other units, or do I basically need to start the army over again?

That works in AoS. You're looking for the Blades of Khorne. Each of the Gods have a book dedicated to them. So as long as everything outside of allies have the correct god keyword your army gains all the GW style faction benefits.

Because it's just the god keyword needed you can mix mortals and daemons from your book as well as any Slaves to Darkness units that can choose your chosen mark as well.

Thanks for that. It's good to know that I don't need to start over.

Another option is combined daemon force. Rules available in wrath of everchosen supplement. That way you can combine khorne and tzeentch daemoes. No mortals here though(barring some exceptions like Archaon) as uniting keyword is chaos daemon.

I'll definitely check that out, thanks
