If this model has been slain, at the end of your movement phase, roll a dice.
On a 4+, a new model identical to the one that was slain is added to your army.
Set up this model anywhere on the battlefield more than 9" from all enemy units.

Now if that roll is failed on the subsequent movement phase after his death, can I roll for it on all my following movement phases until he is revived?

Or is it a one time roll on that movement phase following his death?

Barring FAQ it's all following movement phases.

edit: and now I see why people are talking about exponential Kritza's! By strict RAW, Kritza 1 dies turn 1, turn 2 you bring him back. Turn 2 Kritza 2 dies. Now on turn 3 you roll for Kritza 1, who is slain, and Kritza 2, who is also slain, and now you get Kritza 3 and Kritza 4 (if you roll 4+ both times).

Kritza 3 dies, Kritza 4 survives... next turn you roll for Kritza 1, Kritza 2, AND Kritza 3!

Phew. Obviously not RAW. Presumably it's meant for 1 Kritza to eventually come back, but not infinite Kritzas... multiplying... like rats? Maybe it is intentional?

Nope. At $35 a pop, if you want to try your exponential Kriza's trick you'll be spending some $$$.

Heh, even at a tournament duplicating the model wouldn't be allowed as it is so blatantly game breaking and not how the rule is supposed to work. But continuting to roll each movement phase until he comes back (just once!) is how it works now, and THAT may be the intent.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.
