Hey there, new to the hobby and finally bit the bullet and am loving the game. I'm excited to start painting my retinue of push-fit Space Marines as Blood Angels.

I am having a problem with the outriders, however, as the tops of two of the bikes have a considerable gap in them. I've already glued the push-fit bits together, and am wondering how to close that gap before I prime them.

Would I need to learn how to use green stuff? Do you think I can use some model glue and vice-grip them together until they meld? I'm at a loss.

Thank you!

If you can push them together and the parts meet, you can try the glue and hold method. If not, GS or other gap filler of your choice is the next step.

Some form of epoxy putty such as Greenstuff (it's not the only option) is just a very useful tool to have when it comes to assembling models, especially larger ones, so I do recommend picking some up. You'll need some sculpting tools: metal dental-style tools and soft silicone sculpting tools are both useful and it's good to have a few of each.

Try cutting the pegs down to more like a D shape, and cut a little off the end.

The pegs are meant to be very tight tolerance, but if the peg is a little too big and the hole a little small, they won't fit all the way.
Cutting the pegs down removes that issue.

This should be the first thing you try as I have found that cutting the pegs down a little, maybe 2-5 mm fixes the issue with the vast majority of GW push fit models.
