Hey there, some friends and I are starting a crusade campaign and I'm a little stuck on what to play and could use an outside set of eyes. I know I'll be playing Necrons and Sisters at some point. I'm thinking of using the Poison the Well agenda. This is our first venture into the crusade rules so any tips would be great!

I've also thought about running a Poxwalker heavy Harbinger's list with Typhus, but don't think it brings enough firepower.

I can tell you my buddy took typhus and took him out after two games. One he can not gain any exp or abilities in the campaign. Are you playing 25PL matches to start? Two of our players did not account for that and had to make adjustments because they could field 22PL and 23PL, but not 25PL. On your Sorcerer you could spend a RP to give it a warlord trait.

Thanks for the heads up on Typhus. I knew he wouldn't gain xp or bonuses, but thought it'd be thematic for the campaign. I dont think we've ironed out what PL games we'd be playing yet. I was debating what to do with some of the initial requisition points. Using 1 to get the sorcerer a trait would be a good idea and I'd still have 2.

You can give Deadly Pathogens to Bubbonic Champion or a relic to your Sorcerer, but I would first get a clear idea on battle BL. If you are doing 50PL it will be fine, but 25PL you may want to rework a little.

I can still manage a 25 PL list with my original list, but I think I should look at it as a 25 PL list that I can add 25 more PL to instead of just make a 50 PL list and seeing what I can put on the field for 25 PL.

I would run a patrol sized with Lord of Contagion
one Group of plague marines a group of cultists and a group of pox walkers and the Plagueburst Crawler entyropy cannons and Heavy slugger)

For 25 PL (nothing else quite fits) and should be nasty enough Do not forget to have a flamer in the cultists..
