Longtime Dakkanaut

After a good year of focussing solely on Sci-Fi, I've been itching for some fantasy hobbying again. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to decide on a project yet, as there is just too much stuff around, so I was hoping for your input.

The conditions:

- single model or small unit
- strength on the table should not be considered
- the unit is iconic within its faction due to design, function etc.

Let's hear your suggestions!

Blood Knights - great models, 5 man unit, very iconic and (although you said it doesn't matter) they're really strong on the table.

If I just wanted a small unit to paint? I'd pick one of the Underworlds warbands. Other than the Lumineth & Slanesh (they aren't bad, just the others are all better sculpts IMO) all are great looking 4-5 model units.
My favorites are the Snarlfang's Wolf Riders & Headkrakka's orcs.

There are so many Monster models that look great, and take to such projects well. The recent Kragnos and Be'lakor models are great examples of this, and great set pieces even when not on the tabletop, for example.

Are you a Wolf, a Sheep, or a Hound?
