It's not a memory issue, it's an issue with the new page being created a post or two too early, so it displays an empty page until there are enough new posts to actually roll over to that page.

The phantom page thing just keeps going.
In the Eldar thread, page 43 doesn't exist yet. It was the same for page 42 before it suddenly sprung into existence, and page 41.
