Hello Dakka Dakka friends.

Max from McDougall designs here requesting your thoughts and commentary.

We offer conversion bundles mixing a boxed set of Wargames Atlantic plastics with conversion bits specially chosen to enhance the boxed set.

We are looking at adding more conversion packs for Les Grognards and would like to ask you a question:

Which of these heads do you like best and would be most interested in buying?

The Fishscale Helmet is beautiful and very unique. Might be a bit of a downside for sales though, since I'd have to have a very particular project in mind for it.

I like the Sallet helmet, it's got a solid grimdark feel to it. It would work for a variety of projects.

The fully enclosed helmet feels generic and phoned in to me.

I went with the Sallet helmet. However, the fish scale and winged helmets are things I would buy in smaller numbers for hero minis. Instead of 25 for $5, I could see going for 5 for $1, since I would probably use only about 5 anyway. They seem like they might work well on WGA Romans, Conquistadores or Halflings for fantasy hero conversions, or on miniatures from other companies. I don’t think they work as well on Grognards.

That makes sense. I'm considering offering the fish-scale helmets as a conversion pack for the conquistadors.

That might be a winning plan. I don’t pretend to know the economics of 3D printing small batches of bits.
