This is a general thread for posting ideas and inspiration for Ash Wastes vehicles, terrain and models.

We don't know for certain what GW will produce (Nomads and a Land Train are all but confirmed) but we know it will take a while for the line to be filled out so why not post some options?

The articles are a bit (10 years+ ) out of date so here are some ideas I would highlight and I'm actively considering.

Mostly I look for things that are commercially available but are out of the ordinary enough they won't stand out as too "real world" on a 40k/Necromunda table.

Mantic Mule - already out, relatively cheap, clearly a sci-fi vehicle but not tied to Star Wars or Star Trek.

There were some really interesting polar explorer vehicles from the 30s to the 60s, some even with a plane lashed on top. I haven't found any kits but it looks possible to scratch build them from toys. The advantage is that, unlike most trucks and cars, they weren't bound to the size of lanes and tunnels and like 40k vehicles are a lot wider than normal ones.

Oh, lord. I did not need to see that Interceptor, considering I have the Gorx Morkatansky ork model from Hardcore Minis.

I was hoping to find something in plastic just to make converting it easier, but man, the scale and the price?

Some inobvious GW kits worth considering (obvious Necromunda, GS Cult and IG models are all useful). Ork vehicles might also work, depending on how hard they are to de-ork.

Now that we've seen the Cargo 8 Ridge Hauler (when you need a ridge hauled somewhere, call us) I think the gun truck above fits that family well.
