Subject: Master Splinter to go with my Ninja Turtle Primaris Marines
By popular request, here he is.
I thought it important to make him a Firstborn Marine since the Turtles are Primaris. Gives him an "older" vibe.
There was also something oddly satisfying about mixing Dark Angels (robed body) and Space Wolf (helmet) parts together.

Slightly off-script?
Oh no, I've been full-blown rewriting the script lately.
Here's a list of 40k model projects I've either finished or are currently working on:
-Ninja Turtle Marines vs Chaos Lord Shredder
-Phobos Librarian Jedi vs Necron Grevious
-Mario Kart ATV vs Bowser Warbiker & Da Koopa Troopas
-Eldar Harlequin Power Rangers
-Harlequins KISS (ie the band)
-Primaris Master Chief, Sarge & Kabooze (Red vs Blue)
-Genestealer Xenomorph with face-hugger egg bases
All 40k models and GW parts*
*had to outsource Grevious's lightsabers, but everything else is 100% GW plastic.

Do you get photos of your opponents' faces when they see these, or are they just for the cabinet?
Thanx.
I've always gotten good reactions to my conversions, but most of these are new, none of them are for my main army (Eldar) and since I haven't played a game at an LGS is about 2 years, so at the moment these are just for display.
Actually collecting and painting are pretty much the only thing keeping me in this hobby right now.
My youngest son still plays occasionally, but neither of my sons have the patience and attention span to get in a "real" game anymore. They just want the instant gratification of video games.
I'm always looking for ways to make for good, small, easy play quick games. The biggest we play now is 1250pts, but I'd love to start using all these neat projects in Kill-Team style games without having to use KT rules (too divergent from the 40k rules we are familiar with and don't want to have to basically learn an all new game)
Btw, why the bow attached to Splinters bolter? I don't recall him ever using a bow in any of the media.
The original Splinter action figure came with a bow and arrow, plus a sword cane. He also used one in TMNT II: Secret of the Ooze to shoot the rope holding a net the Turtles had been captured in.
