Hi folks,

I've been hanging onto to a good chunk of Nighthaunt from the Mortal Realms magazine and I did some test pieces for the army earlier last year and shelved the project as my grunt work airbrush broke. Fast forward to now, I decided to put my army concept to the test and see how fast I could churn out the army given the fact that I had the intention of it being a speed paint scheme. It seems to have worked, and from primer to oils and some highlights, it has taken me just under 12 hours to paint 72 miniatures (~1500 points). Some minis got extra attention, but generally the metallic sheen through the inks does a lot of leg work so detailing using highlights wasn't really needed but I am well aware it could make them look better, especially with the characters. Have 10 more Bladegheist Revenants, 4 horse faced dudes, Olynder and would like to pick up Nagash or a Black Coach to wrap the army up. Will have some group photos up soon too!

Anyway, short ramble over, please enjoy my Chamonhaunt!

That's a unique color scheme! Did you use an airbrush on these guys?

That's a really cool color scheme. Nice work.

Nehekhara lives! Sort of!
Why is the rum always gone?

Thanks folks! @KidCthulhu, yes, everything was airbrushed to get the effect, mainly just inks and some contrast paint through the airbrush to maintain the metallic effect underneath.

Fun! It's nice to see some new schemes with the nighthaunt.

And you can't go wrong with some metal ghosts.

Yeah it wasn't a scheme I'd seen done before and the Mortal Realms offer so many opportunities for fun schemes and themes.

Here are some army photos of my entire force, just shy of 1700 points! Quite pleased with how they look overall!
