The reason is I'd like to use this as either a master moulder or an eshin sorcerer - and then match everyone else to the dark-magenta robes

I was thinking shredder initially for some reason. But I think the GW description works for Master Splinter. (plus master in the name)

A Master Moulder must learn when to ply the lash, how to control infighting, and how far beasts can be pushed before they'll turn.

Since he never moulded the turtles, but just found them, he is obviously clan Eshin

Good point - he can't be a Master Moulder then, but what if he's a Packmaster underneath that? Balemaster?

He's called Master Splinter though. So that does point to Eshin.

But he's only called that by the mutant Turtles... whose packmaster he might be. It's so confusing ^^
