Any of you guys out there making dark angels? I'm just curious what lists you guys were thinking about. All I have really nailed down is that I like interemptors and contemptor dreadnaughts. The knights and companions look cool but I don't know which I want to use.

I havent had a good* look at the any of the leaks/review vids as I'm waiting for my own copy too arrive, but it looks like we've taken a friendly tap with the nerf bat.
-It looks like we've lost Molecular Acid Shells for a start. Which gave our Heavy Bolters a proper punch
-Terranic Greatswords are worse off as they are no longer instant death. They're just slightly better paragon blades now.
-I'm pretty sure Mastery of the blade is no longer Legion wide. Its just Deathwing now.



Our Pride of the Legion will still be strong.
Knights Cenobium with thunderhammers will still wreak face, so they're a solid choice.
If we still have access to stasis shells then terminators with combi-grenades and calibanite warblades will still equal choppy fun.

I did see someone else saying that Stormwing looks actually useable now, so massed footsloggers with CCW upgrades could be a goer.
It wont take long for the netlists to appear. We'll know what works and what doesn't before long.

This had a pretty thorough overview. With the new rules it seems like DA are the swiss army knife. Do a lot well but nothing great. I think I will go into a dreadwing list with interemptors. Maybe have a list with some counter punch and let them come to my plasma.
