What would you consider to be the nemesis of your favorite faction?

Here is my break down. Feel free to disagree!

1. Imperium vs. Chaos. (Not expecting much debate here)

2. Tyranids vs. Orks

3. Necrons vs Tau (Old self proclaimed masters of the universe vs new self proclaimed masters of the universe)

4. Eldar vs. Dark Eldar

So what do you all think? After the awesomeness of Octarius' biggest xenos rivalry ever what do you think are the chances we get a Necron vs Tau narrative campaign book?

Eldar are either going to be necrons (old foe) or Chaos, focused on she who thirsts. While craftworld/dark eldar might not see eye to eye on a lot of things, they are a far cry from nemesis level foes.

Mechanicus vs Necrons, my two favorite factions.

‘What Lorgar’s fanatics have not seen is that these gods are nothing compared to the power and the majesty of the Machine-God. Already, members of our growing cult are using the grace of the Omnissiah – the true Omnissiah, not Terra’s false prophet – to harness the might of the warp. Geller fields, warp missiles, void shields, all these things you are familiar with. But their underlying principles can be turned to so much more. Through novel exploitations of these technologies we will gain mastery first over the energies of the empyrean, then over the lesser entities, until finally the very gods themselves will bend the knee and recognise the supremacy of the Machine-God"

Ultramarines have always been the nemesis for my orks. Since 3rd I consider the smurfs the true villains of the entire 40k universe .

My SW never really had a real nemesis, while my two other armies AM and Tyranids are nemesis to each other.

Other armies I've played which I don't have anymore are drukhari and adepta sororitas, their nemesis were craftworlds and chaos space marines respectively.

On a subfaction level, I feel the Ultramarines pair up vs. Tyranids. Sure, they have a long history against other foes, but the Battle of Mcgragge highlights modern Ultras.

I don’t think nids or orks really have nemesis's. Is it eatable? Will it give a good scrap? Warbands/splinter fleets might hold a grudge (Like Gaz and Yarrik) but not as a whole.

IMHO.

Nids, Choas and Orks, for different good reasons, want to attack everyone I don’t see why they would be anyones nemesis, specifically.

Necrons have a bone to pick with Chaos and Eldar in particular.
They hate Chaos and they really, really hate Eldar. They hate the Orks too because of their irrational behavior and their ties to the Old Ones, but of all of the Old Ones' creations they hate the Eldar most of all because of their closer ties to the Old Ones and they were the ones who chased the Necrons into hiding.

Likewise, Eldar have a strong animosity towards Necrons.

For a major galactic event, the War in Heaven doesn't have as much coverage as it should have.

Orks sayin' Mork is da strongest vs Orks sayin' Gork is moar strong

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.
