Since the Word Bearers are a close combat army.
I focused on that.
And the Mhara Gal Dreadnought and legion heavy support squard are picked to take care of any heavy attack units.
I don´t know if 2x10 Gal Vorbak is a bit overkill but since i don´t have any transports in the army i thought i might need every unit available to survive enemy fire.
But i am quite new to 30k so i don´t know if this list is okay or if it will last all of 10 seconds before the opponent army will turn it into sludge.

Remember that Argel Tal gives 5++ to a unit of Vorbak he joins if warlord - might wanna get one up to 10. They'll want to get into CC real quick, so maybe a Spartan for that group..

The RoW as is doesn't seem to give you anything - you already have two other Troop units there and no drop pods anyway.

What are the dark brethren? I don't think I've seen that datasheet.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

I think it's the new unit from June. They desecrate bodies or something like that. If you get enough bodies, they get really tanky.

I'll caveat my post by saying that 1)I've yet to play a game of 2.0, so i'm basing most of what I say from what i've picked up from watching bat-reps/what other people have been talking about and my own understanding of the rules as they are. 2) I'm not at all familiar with Word Bearers rules/playstyle so I may well miss some of the nuance associated with them.

I'll start by making a few observations.
-From what I can tell, the advantage of the Serrated Sun RoW is in getting a bunch of nasty fethed up units in your enemies face really quickly via drop pods. Your list doesn't take advantage of that.
-Footslogging units aiming to get across the board and into combat isn't a terribly viable method of war unless your board is chockers with terrain or you're super durable. Too many things are able to just delete units off the table. And with so few units in your list that means your opponent can dedicate more of their units to removing each of yours rather then having to be more selective about what they fire at.
-At 2k points you don't have enough bodies on the ground for a footslogging list. The assault squads and HSS will get deleted quickly. The Gal Vorbak will take some punishment what with FNP and the Invul Argel provides them, but they won't last too long in any numbers. Even the Mhara Gal for as stupidly durable as they are, will likely succumb to weight of fire.
-Your list also really lacks sufficient anti armour. The Mhara Gal can do some work in this regards with it's tainted claw, but either another dreadnought or HSS with anti armour weapons would be beneficial.

Your list as it stands wont last long if the opponent has good lines of fire and plenty of heavy weapons. Best you're likely to do is use the assaults squads to screen the Gal Vorbak and having everything run across the board. Or use the Mhara Gal as a distraction and pray to the four that your opponent throws all his weight behind knocking it off while leaving the rest of your army unmolested and free to leg it down the table.
The HHS is also not utilized well. The heavy bolters are geared towards taking out basic infantry. But so is the rest of your army. So unless you upgrade them to something a touch heavier then they're points not overly well spent.

At the 2k points level, taking into account your focus on close combat orientated units and the RoW, I'd be taking 2x5 Gal Vorbak and the Mhara Gal in drop pods. Then either upgrade the HHS with anti armour, or drop them from the list and take a 2nd dreadnought with lascannons.
I'd be looking at something like the following.

HQ
Argel Tal - 240

Troops
Gal Vorbak squad - 275
Dreadclaw Drop Pod - 115
Gal Vorbak squad - 275
Dreadclaw Drop Pod - 115
Legion Assault Squad - 155
Artificer Armour
Legion Assault Squad - 155
Artificer Armour

Elites
Mhara gal Dreadnought w/melta cannon -240
Dreadclaw Drop Pod - 115

Legion Heavy Support Squad - 160
Lascannons, Artificer armour

That leaves you at 1845 points. 155 points left over for upgrades or a centurion (Diabolist looks like he could be useful) or even another 10 man troop squad for some extra bodies.
The above list would benefit from a few things. Vexillas on the assault squads for one. Also some power weapons/power fist would help boost their combat potential. An augury scanner would be useful for the HHS, no matter which weapons they take.
This way you take advantage of your RoW and you're getting your big nasty units into combat much quicker and with (hopefully) less casualties.

Dark Brethren are just the name of the Gal Vorbak. Like how you have tactical legionaires in a tactical squad and legion breachers in a breacher squad.
