There are bound to be BA Successor Chapters that turned traitor, not just renegade. Everyone has such black sheeps in the family.
Now... what happens if they succumb to their gene flaw and the psychic feedback and turn "Death Company"?
They're Chaos Marines now. They sided with Chaos. And they see Horus everywhere.
Do they run around and pledge fealty to the next Ork they find? It puts a knot in my brain

They kill until they are killed. There isn't much more to it than that.

Chaos Space Marines don't like Horus much, either. Abaddon killed Horus's clone, declared him weak and a failure, and renamed the Sons of Horus to the Black Legion.

I imagine a Berzerker who tries to kill everyone he sees, thinking them Horus, would fit right in amongst most Legions.

Pretty sure that part of the Black Rage is that, in addition to seeing everyone else as Horus, they see themselves as Sanguinius. So in the narrative playing out in their heads, they're still mad at that guy over there.
