Hey folks, thought i'd start up a painting log for my current Battletech projects. I have too many mechs to paint and not enough time, so this might be a slow project. So far i've put most of my mechs into little groups. With most of my inner sphere stuff being focused around the 1st Sword of Light and eventually Lyran Guard regiments. For the clans, probably going to stick with Clan Wolf and Jade Falcons for now.

I can't really make up my mind if I like the red mechs on the snowy bases or the desert style, so I might rebase the panther, not sure yet.

The fire moth is meant to be Ghost Bear delta galaxy. I might go back and darken the blue and add decals, but recent artwork from the Tukayyid sourcebook depicts a light icy blue instead of a dark blue.

Thanks, and yeah i'll start doing that from now on. For now I upated the last 2 posts to help clarify what is what.

Man, the more I see of Battletech the more I want to give it a go. Great work here all around - the lenses and weathering are very impressive and the base work is clever and helps to give a sense of the scale of these mechs.

The Steiner scheme is perhaps my favorite too, it takes a bit longer to paint than the others though.
