Anyways, while you wait on GW, I recommend looking into having them 3d printed.

I've got one set + some extras from the Mighty Empires tile set. Would be an awesome item for a rerelease, alongside 10th edition 40K Narrative Play/Crusade rules!

I've been waiting for them to re-release them for over a decade. The closest thing we got was the Urban Conquest box which sadly did not live up to expectations.

Yeah, I've been eternally sad that I missed these when they came out. I was still really young at the time and had a limited budget so I couldn't get it during its limited run.

Have you tried ebay? There's a bunch being sold from the UK, for a not completely unreasonable price right now. Here, I already did the work for you.

I have created three campaign maps from one box. You can obviously stretch it by using the backside too although the spaceport and hive city tile are one-sided.

Planet: Dust Bowl
Location: Only region around space port (rest of the planet isn´t explored)
Theme: Postapocalyptic Hellhole; Natives enjoy violent motorized death sports; Dangerous mutated wildlife

3d printing is an option, there's also companies that sell hex bases, I wonder how hard it would be to add the terrain you want.

Ironically, the Planetary Empires campaign system was also amongst the most practical and least obnoxiously bloated campaign rules GW have ever managed to release.

I would need to check my retailer about that. 3D printing is not for everyone because of lack of appropriate working space.

It's possible to find printed items for sale or places that will do the printing for you.

From everything I hear about 3d printers and work involved that seems the best solution for now.

But it did get me a classic metal genestealer patriarch in a throne and enough Locarno heads to kitbash a Navigator kill team.

A trash can filled with model bits, out of print stuff, and discounted everything. Are there import tariffs on model kits in Deutschland I don't know about?
