wow! I haven't checked this thread for a while;
some great stuff.

I really love the Dagans; the're just right. I also like the direction of the 'organic machine creature'- am I too assume that this will be hovering or on legs?

Re. 'The chickenid'; I think Major Tom's sketch is a more attractive direction than the one you guys seem to be taking. Although it's probably not the alien you 'intend' for this model. His stance seems a lot more natural, the gravity of the frame is correct; it's different from what is already out there, but similar enough to be clearly associated.

I guess the construction style of the mech does kind of look like a Geth/Reaper creation.

Well, this is what Ed had to say about it:

Technoscream, starting yours next and gettinga small not profit mold done also for a member, behind slightly but it's to go with his order, sorry Eddie. I will be done soon. As for the renders I'm going to mold them as is first and see what we get. If they look ok we are a go, if not Flashheart is going to clean the resins for me so we can get them done faster and in the store. I believe it will be a min. I am however going to buy a special can of mold release to be sure it will not stick to them. Most there is no issue but I have read cad renders can stick slightly to the rubber and I want to be safe.

I expect them to be out in the coming weeks.

I'm loving the troll, but I think the nose needs a shot of Viagra. It reminds me of an EverQuest Troll, which is probably why I like it so much!

Not sold on the look of the troll, but the sculpting so far is top notch.

Is it the size of the head? Many Trolls (such as GW) tend to have bigger heads.

As for the crotch area...dunno how that will go, I guess Ed will come up with something!

Not so much the size of the head as the design of it. A little too human-like for my taste... But that's just a personal preference. Trolls ultimately look like whatever the designer wants them to look like.

Iunno, I like it. To me, it's a D&D Troll (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/MM35_gallery/MM35_PG248a.jpg), and I've always liked the way they look. Although, I'm a fan of well-done trolls in general, and will consider taking them wherever I can find them.

The new internal cockpit seat, with separate 'over the shoulder' monitor, partially inspired by Luke Skywalker's X-wing's 'over the shoulder' targeting computer. There's still some detailling to go, but that's the easy part. Making that fold-out computer screen fit between the pilot's head and the canopy was the difficult bit. XD

The finished pilot. It's probably worth mentioning that she doesn't have shins. (They wouldn't be visible from the outside of the model, anyway, and it would be a bit of a fuss making them fit into the cockpit/chair assembly.)
