Loving your Marvel-verse Deadzone stuff! That Enforcer Captain looks particularly badass as Von Doom! Shame you can't get some sort of lightning projectors in Deadzone lol.

Following the survivor will be my Blaine conversion. Guy with blades attached to his wrists and a dirty fighter? Yeah, like he needs any explanation, bub.

Yes you're not the only one who was tinkering with Blaine's model today. I put him together this afternoon and I had to give his arm a dip in boiling water to straighten the wristblade out. Gotta say- he looks badass even without a paintjob lol.

While not painted yet, I thought I'd share with you some of my newest plague muties from my Plague Booster set. Again, raided the possessed CSM bits box for their "upgrades"

I'm not going to be able to show both painted right away (went to visit family for Father's Day, left the white paint I need for Traveler's hair at home), but I'll get the pictures of them primed up in a little bit. If the Traveler bit isn't enough of a hint, the other hint will be "big guns never tire". If that AND the white hair comment don't do it, then you'll all have to wait until pictures to up, and I will rip up nerd cards. And be disappointed.

Here are pictures of the primed models, guys. They'll be painted...soon. Not 100% sure when, but hopefully finished by Tuesday night at the latest.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to surrender my Nerd Card, I still can't work out who the Survivor has been converted into. I kind of want to say Deadpool, but I don't recall him having white hair...

He'll have white hair, carries big guns and travels. A lot. Through time. Don't worry though, your nerd card is revoked. He is, well, friends (I guess) with Deadpool.

Hmmmm, seeing how the only additional clue was being friends with Deadpool...you can have half of it back. I ate the other half.

The blaine looks like the sabertooth? Both should be pretty suave.

Half is better than nothing... In my defence, I was never as much of an X-men fan as I was an Avengers one.

GD: yeah, I thought about that (Ultimate Sabes, anyway). I was considering cutting the jacket so it would look closer to civvy Logan, and since you picked up on my only hang up...I'm gonna cut it.

For me it's got to do with the fur of the coat around the neck, seems one of his iconic things from what little I recall. Coat too though. He would work pretty well as either really.

Well, classic Civvy Logan had the brown, fur-lined coat in the cartoon. Which is what I was going for. The Marvel Legends Civvy Woverine had a fur-lined coat too. Sabertooth had a fur-lined body suit, rather than a coat (except in Ultimates). I know it's a minor detail, but it would drive me buggy. Besides...the hair is CLEARLY sculpted to be wolverine hair.

Yeah, but again they're kind of similar. I think it's the hair going down the side of the face that's making me think sabertooth over logan. I'm sure once you have paint on it, i won't be able to mistake the two

Actually, I just went back and looked at Blaine's stats: really tough, 3+ to hit, AP2 blades...yeah, I'd say he's going in every Reb list. 19 points and no leadership skill, he'd better be the best he is at what he does.

He's basically a quicker compact 1st gen, with a pistol to boot. Rebs have a terraton, plague has... most of it's list... Blaine would seem to me to add the most to marauders and enforcers.. maybe.

True. But my Enforcer list has Iron Man to punch people to death already!

Ewww... that guy needs brawler and more than a 5+... stat! At least he's good at bossing your snipers around into making more shots

I had a bunch of fun working on the Z-corp, I can't wait to get ahold of the DZ plague zombies. I may even get another 10-20 corporation dudes to splice in even more parts The only thing is that I kind of wish I had kept the colorscheme the same... I may come up with something similar to the standard marines, but faster, for the future zombies. Then maybe *someday* these guys will get a repaint.

Everybody's been posting some really cool stuff lately, really liked the Dr Doom enforcer captain and a retinue of enforcer doombots would look so damn awesome anyway my creative drive has been flagging recently but I've finally managed to get the rebs heavy weapon team finished.

Also, as an aside, I taught it to the AM at my favorite store (played Rebs and gave him a fight, but ultimately made sure he won), and two others saw and demanded I bring it in again. I have converts!!! Time to teach them...mold them...then crush mercilessly with my Enforcer doom list!!

I got a suggestion at my game store how to paint my Marauders in a Marvel theme, and I LOVE the idea he came up with. I finally have a game plan to paint them.
