Do models block line of sight? Mine or my enemies?

I know this wasn’t the case in the past but I’m not sure where the ruling is in this edition.

Rejoice in the coming oblivion!

This is Page 8 of the rules PDF. If your model can see parts of their model... yadda yadda.
Page 44 details Benefits of Cover - which is pretty much terrain and strats/bespoke.

So if you hide a model behind a Monolith such that it just can't be seen, its out of sight. If you hide the monolith behind the unit so that it's only partially visible - it doesn't really matter as the intervening models aren't a terrain feature and don't give Benefit of Cover. (So far).

My WHFB armies were Bretonians and Tomb Kings.

Models in your own unit don't block line of sight, other models can completely block line of sight. This is the same as all editions back to third I believe (the basis is true line of sight, and this can be abstracted away for example vehicle line of sight in 4thj

In practice, so rarely do it's barely worth it. A monolith absolutely can do though

The thing has gap between bottom and base. Line drawn under just fine

Yeah, Monoliths float and nothing says you can’t see and shoot from your toes.

My Falcon blocked my Farseer Skyrunner from seeing some terminators, though technically I could draw LoS from the butt of the singing spear, so rules let me hit. I guess shooting underneath still works, even if we both hover, because RAW.

Jet bikes do count as having bases, right?

But thanks, okay.

So, if I have infantry that block LoS from other infantry, such as if 1 model in a unit is visible, but I have a unit with models that block the 1 visible guy fr being seen by, say, a bright lance, I can’t shoot with the bright Lance? Because the angle has a guardian, for example, in the way?

I get how unlikely this stuff is, but true LoS means absolutely true LoS? Like if I have a guy standing by a window, I can say he’s peaking out the window to shoot? He has to draw LoS from the actual, physical position of the miniature?

Under. From base to any part of other(including base).

Basically past 6 years i have never got to point where model actually blocks los without house rule...
