So I am trying to make a gladius detachment. A good allrounder - thunder wolves for charging. Heavy interscessors bolter disiplinen trick. Two redemptors for midboard pressure. Three ballistus dreadnoughts for ranged support. Fenrisian wolves for screening/action monkeys.

However I feel like I am lacking something and I have a Stormspeeders on Sprue. Witch Stormspeeders should I add? I have a very hard time making a distinction between them. (Or perhaps I should not add a Stormspeeder. I am open for suggestions.)

When the question is “what to glue” the answer is almost always magnets. Lists and rules change, what this battle needs might be redundant in the next. This editions hotness might be nerfed next week.

What's the one with the melta-thing? I like that one.
But melta weapons have always been a favorite (they just grab my imagination), so I'm a bit biased...

I like the one with the melta because it's a Multi-Multi-Melta, and that's fun to say.

I like the look of the Hammerstrike (melta one), the sheer volume of fire from the Hailstrike (onslaught cannon one), and I like the utility rules of the Thunderstrike.

So for me, magnets all the way.

Funnily enough you don't actually need magnets, just don't glue the weapons. The main guns (onslaught gatling, melta, and lastalon) will usually stay through friction, ditto for the turret weapons. The little side sponson ones can be tricky, but I used just a little bit of blu-tac and so far mine has held together. I should mention that I did glue the wing missiles, which two of the variants obviously don't carry, but nobody should care.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700
