Hey, I have a question about my second hand Aspect Warrior purchase and what the implications are for NetEpic or EA games and the points values.

I got a small army from eBay that has a mix of different Aspect Warrior stands, some of them have a Exarch warrior added to them, so, for example I have 4 stands of Swooping Hawks, 1 stand has 4 Swooping Hawks and a Exarch, the other stands are just 5 Swooping Hawks.

In the context of the two games, what might that do to the squads stats?

I can't see that is a "valid" Combi in NetEpic, I think Exarchs should just have their own stands, and so far I've not found a resource that indicates this works for EA. Any thoughts (and links to the resources that explains this) would be appreciated!

In NetEpic (and SM 2nd/Titan Legions) Exarchs are separate units made up entirely of four Exarch stands. How you model that is up to you, some people use a mix of the Exarch and Aspect Warrior miniatures, some a stand full of Exarch miniatures - as long as you are able to clearly define what is a standard aspect warrior stand and what is an exarch stand you will be fine.

For Armageddon I have not played Eldar so not sure - if it's similar to imperial factions, you add a 'command' to the standard stand to give them a bonus - so having an exarch miniature or two on a stand would indicate this. Perhaps someone more familiar with Armageddon Eldar could confirm this though.

Ok, thanks, a complete stand of Exarchs is what I seemed to remember from SM

Adding the Exarch to an Aspect Warrior stand I can see making sense to provide an attribute like Inspiring for that squad might make sense, will have a hunt around to see if that is the case. I assume that there are any lists linked from within the forum somewhere?

At the end of the day though I agree, as long as it's clear from the outset what the stand representsas you kind of have to make do with what you got.

Alrighty that didn't take long!

http://epic-uk.co.uk/wp/army-lists/ had a look here and it looks like it's an EA thing to add an Exarch to the warrior stands.
