Where do you guys get reliable 3D files for models? The page I used to use seem to have been left abandoned, and besides that one, I only know Cults..

MyMiniFactory is the most popular.
MiniHoarder, CGTrader
There's also PrintedWargames, though I've never used it

I have bought quite a lot from MyMiniFactory.

However, there is a surprisingly large selection available for free from Thingiverse. A lot of it is quite simple, but there is loads of more sophisticated stuff as well. Vehicles, aircraft, infantry, scenery, all sorts.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

My Mini Factory is the big one : https://www.myminifactory.com
You've got regular sales; Tribes (same as Patreon, monthly models); and Frontiers (similar to Kickstarter, but you pay when you pledge and get models upfront - so long as the designer has made them of course)

Printed Wargames: https://printedwargames.com
Smaller but its pretty dedicated for printing miniatures

Cults: https://cults3d.com

Thingieverse: https://www.thingiverse.com

Thangs: https://thangs.com/?sort=trending

cgtrader: https://www.cgtrader.com

Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/home

Now technically Patreon isn't a store for STLs, but a LOT of creators use it for monthly releases. There is a store system on there, but its basic and not many use it.

After that I'd ask what kind of models are you after

For GW adjacent stuff Cults is by far the best. And artists that get taken down by GW tend to flee to Gumroad, but that one works on direct links only, you can't browse it.

The old meta is dead and the new meta struggles to be born. Now is the time of munchkins.
