I don't know if I should be posting this or if it even belongs here, but could we get a Deep Rock Galactic forum? I play DRG, I've met others who play DRG on here, my friends play DRG, it has a board game, and it's similar to Helldivers which is similar to Warhammer, so I feel it could have place on here and people would be happy about it.

There may well be Deep Rock Galactic thread over in the Video Games section already. If not, then by all means feel free to start one up! No better way to draw attention to something you're interested in then promoting it yourself.

As for getting a whole sub-forum all to itself, unless you (and others) can show the site owners that there's enough traffic around a particular game/system to warrant a dedicated sub-section, then chances are slim-to-nil of it ever happening. Until such a time, you can post about the board game in the Other Sci-Fi Miniatures Games section.

That makes sense, thanks for the advice.

BBG states that DRG has 3.2k self-registered owners in its community.

DRG is bigger than I expect it to be. And that was huge when it was around. Even that didn't get its own forum.

As Snrub alludes to above, post in the existing forums. Prefix all threads with [DRG] (so call it "[DRG] How about that new mode..."]).
That way, once enough such threads exist, there may be reason to get a forum.

But, as Legoburner says in the Introductions post:

"Welcome to Dakka Dakka, arguably the Internet's oldest wargaming forum"

Dakkadakka is not a videogame site, nor a boardgame site. There are sections for that sort of thing, for crossovers, other media, etc. I've played the DRG game on the PC for quite a while, but I go elsewhere for chats about that. There isn't even an acronym popup for 'DRG' here yet, as nor does COD and others.
But getting a forum for a non-wargame usually needs a big following. If you can muster up that following here, it could happen.

We arent Mods though, someone will probably be along soon enough.

No, not happening. As always, if there is enough traffic and posts for something, it could warrant a forum of its own, but as is, as amazing as DRG is, nope.

There is a dedicated thread for discussing the video game somewhere in the video game subforum, that can be used for DRG discussion.

Yeah, it's been in those groups where fans put specific fandoms together and I've always thought it might deserve a place here
