Piss poor effort on the part of GW. At a bare minimum, I'd have expected spare bits for the player to optionally and acrobatically balance precariously on hair or ribbons at a bare minimum. Why does GW always screw over Eldar players like this! Obviously, you'd have to sign a liability waiver at the GW store counter along with payment before receiving the purchase.

They should really do scale equivalents for 25mm, 32mm and 40mm.

They should absolutely have these for the conventions they go to. 100% would at least take a pic on one of these bad boys. Imagine the opportunities for lighting effects!

Pair these with a prop bolter, chainsword, hammer, etc would make for a great souvenir photo op.

Obvious April Fool Is Obvious.

But, Y’know? From the piccies, I think this might actually do an exist for real. Probably for just that.

Guess time will tell.

Honestly if I had the time & could be bothered, I could see making a couple of bases and taking them to cons, rent them to cosplayers for photo ops

The magnets needed to secure that to a case would wipe all hard drives in a 10m radius.

And be a tad cost prohibitive... and you would need to be in really good shape to pry those suckers off a metal surface.

To be fair, you could fit a chunk of gear under there. Install some electromagnets, flip a switch, and maglock your base to the hull.

Ya know, you could probably make something like this mostly out of stuff you find at your local Home Depot (or similar store).
They make round wooden boards for tables and the like, decorative plastic rocks, some tufts of fake grass. Plastic skulls left over from Halloween...
I'm just trying to think of what you could use for the chamfered rim.

I just noticed the weight listed in the product announcement, almost 5 stone! That's a pretty hefty chunk of plastic there.

And with appropriate bindings (possibly liberated from skis) then we are car surfing our way to the tournament screaming and pointing the entire way

Next you'll be having players make land speeders out of deodorant containers or some other ridiculousness!

Wow! Almost like Paulie from the last Reacher season (2.18, 160). That's Space Marine proportions, imposing OO ! For me it would be like carrying a 90+kg backpack, I can imagine my knees snapping like twigs when jumping or running OO Quite amazing, having the muscle mass to put such a body to work. You really deserve an appropriately sized Tactical Rock.

Now I want to see a roomba with a bunch of those plush rippers on top cruising around devouring all the dirt and biomass.
