This video was suggested to me today. I think it's not necessarily my cup of tea, but I am sure there are players who will find the setting and miniatures compelling!
I could see this as a rulers set. I have no reason to throw money at dino minis, when I can use cheap plastic mini dinosaurs for a couple bucks a tub. Then the batch of MARX minis, I can see a more interesting game with Cavemen, Dinosaurs and a SF team.
Good idea, might need to work on the execution.
At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.
Stegosaurus at the end-Cretaceous extinction event? That's about 85,000,000 years out of date. Less accurate than having triceratops in the Napoleonic wars. It's like people just don't care about prehistorical accuracy anymore!
Def a interesting idea and look forward to hearing more!
I AM A MARINE PLAYER
"Unimaginably ancient xenos artefact somewhere on the planet, hive fleet poised above our heads, hidden 'stealer broods making an early start....and now a bloody Chaos cult crawling out of the woodwork just in case we were bored. Welcome to my world, Ciaphas."
Inquisitor Amberley Vail, Ordo Xenos
"I will admit that some Primachs like Russ or Horus could have a chance against an unarmed 12 year old novice but, a full Battle Sister??!! One to one? In close combat? Perhaps three Primarchs fighting together... but just one Primarch?" da001
Well, let's see what scale and material they're thinking of for the models. I'm tentatively interested, but then it's dead easy to get me with dinosaurs.

Pretend this is a Jurassic Park/Armageddon crossover in which Bruce Willis got eaten by a dinosaur and it's that other asteroid that ends that other age of the dinosaurs. And so it all makes sense again.
Nehekhara lives! Sort of!
Why is the rum always gone?
I made a game like this for my nephew called To The Strongest. At the time, I was a bit surprised at the lack of Dinosaur miniature battle games out on the market.
I think Osprey is also working on some Prehistoric caveman rules at the moment as well. The details are eluding me at the moment.

Or assume it's a Biblically-accurate dinosaur setting, so they're all running around at the same time!

Needs more people riding dinosaurs then.

Where does it say in the Bible that people rode dinosaurs? Or that they at least co-existed?
If there were truly biblically accurate, then it would be a table with nothing on it. Except maybe for a few snakes and a huge fish.
I mean, I get it's a stab at those YEC fellows the yanks have, but that ironically has nothing to do with the Bible in this case, despite their insistence on taking it literally.
