Recently picked up this 3rd party mini for fun because I love how so over the top he is.

So i haven't played in several years, and haven't uh... got my hands on anything since the edition before the primaris came out. So... are primaris really this big even beside a strormcast? I thought he'd make a good chapter master/captain for a custom chapter, but maybe he's too big.

If I do get back in, figured if this is the correct scale for friendly/non-gw store games.

That model is probably almost twice the size of a primaris marine. Primaris are actually slightly smaller than the Stormcast.
Here's a comparison I found online:
Spoiler:

I think it'd be difficult to use him in the game, unless as a primarch proxy. In fact, it is probably intended as a stand-in for Lion El'Jonson, it has the right wargear.

If you like the model, paint it up and use it. All the fancy characters get to be substantially larger than they have any need/right to be from the fluff, so take advantage of it

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Ah cool, thanks for the visual. That's cool I can use him as a stand in for Lion El then.

That's true. I'm going to enjoy painting him regardless. It's such a cool model.

Wow! I have never seen Primaris with the armour fix! I was going to sell all of mine but now I am wondering how easy it is to do that remodelling....
