well actually i haven´t done any work to create a woodgrain effect on these... if it looks that way it is currently only sloppy brushwork ^^
thanks for the heads up tho for the metalpaintwork... i try to get better with these...what do you think of the tinbitz joints on stopepipe hat? too dark or could i get away with these?
Tin Bitz looks best in larger patches IMHO- but what you've done works great!

thanks alpha...he is the one most true to the original rivetto theme.... and i have plans for him... one of these days i have to get the head done better tho...this still needs some work on the next version of rivetto...

Vik, a quick "dry-brush" of dwarf bronze or even shining gold would make the joints pop out and look good.

The heavy has got to be my favourite the wood barrel section looks great and the 2 colours contrast well
The tin bitz has to be used on a large area to get real effect from it (as Dave mentioned ) but overall love the look, the flat cap has turned out nicely to

at RW...thanks mate... and hopefully i get to make more of them too...too few atm to call them an army^^ (army of the lost and never found really atm)

at LDD...thanks mate...i thought i´d add a drybrush of some more creamy paint color over the current just bestial brwon and then soak everything in devaln mud... that should create a nice effect hopefully...cross fingers for me^^
at klaus...well actually as i never saw any episode of dr. who.. (i know...how could i dare to not see that...will one day be remedied...^^) but for now my main inspiration was the dog from the jimmy neutron tv kids series... i can only recomend this series... very hilarious^^

Sorry I haven't been on recently, bad headache meant screen-time was very limited, though it's (mostly) gone away now ^^
