Syro_ wrote:Wow, that's a very impressive tally for the year. I'm at 85 personally (which I think is higher than I managed in the past three years). Keep up the great progress, and nice work on the genestealers.

A whole grey chaos team The Grey Wasters , now I just need to find an opponent and my grey plastic team can have a name and theme. Chop up some sprue into rubble from their home soil and jobs a good'un.

Thanks, all!

I've been in a bit of a trough again mojo-wise.

I do have the remaining few Space Hulk Genestealers VERY nearly done, hope to get them done soon. Also, I took some Contrast paints and Plaguebearers away on holiday over the summer, so they just need a bit of finishing off too

In exciting news, my upcoming birthday is bringing my first 3D printer, an Ender 3 V2 (so FDM rather than resin) so soon I shall be submerged under a mountain of terrain and tanks etc

This is why I'm not getting a 3D printer-my wife would divorce me. I'll live through you by proxy.

Now showing two Tranquility crewmembers from Blackwater Gulch!!

Painting Total as of 10/17/2021: 84 plus an iron golem and five spider nests and all the obstacles for Dreadball Xtreme and four trapdoors and a cauldron and some teleport disks and three SF buildings and some resin barricades!

Painting Total as of 12/26/2020: 185 plus two mechs and the Throne of Bone

Heh

Thankfully I built a man-cave/shed, so the printer and most of the output can live out there, keeping me safe from spousal disapproval...

So, I finally managed to get the brushes out and resume some productivity!

The last few Space Hulk bits are done, so that's another big milestone

2021's score is now 254

Mostly, on my phone.

Such a satisfying feeling when you finish a section of a game! Great job on the stealers but also cracking servitor and bases generally.

Good work on the space hulk bits, I think I speak for us all when is say we need a group shot! If nothing else it’ll cement my jealousy of not having Space Hulk!

Goberts Gubbins - P&M Blog, started with Oldhammer, often Blackstone Fortress and mini-Marines, Indomitus soon... hopefully!

Awesome on finishing those Space Hulk bits. If my memory serves, those were the last that were unpainted from the entire game, right? So, whole game is painted now? That is a big accomplishment!

Cheers! Yep, v happy to have ticked it off the list, going to play through it once we have done the main Zombicide campaign.

Yep, it's done and dusted, I am stoked!

A long old time ago, I bought various bits and pieces of Plague Marines, to start a Nurgle army. Looking at the box, it turns out that was in 2012! The wheels may turn slowly, but that project is finally getting some attention. First up are some Plaguebearers - These are Heresy "Blight" minis that I picked up in their Kickstarter, also several years ago...

Going with pretty much all Contrast paint for this, the effect is okayish, but satisfyingly quick

Rust and Nurgle's Rot liberally applied to bases and weapons.

Got some more LOTR Rohan very nearly done, they will appear soon

Meanwhile, pending the arrival of my Ender 3 printer, I have started messing around with 3d models.

Here's my first original creation - A Helms Deep wall section for LOTR SBG, based on the instructions in the Journey Books. All my own work with the sole exception of the flagstones on the top.

Next I will have to work out how to chop a chunk out to make the wall section with the culvert in the bottom, then how to model that into a breached/exploded section!

Ooh, very exciting. Always impressed to see folk designating their own stuff for printer.
