Thanks, all!
I've been in a bit of a trough again mojo-wise.
I do have the remaining few Space Hulk Genestealers VERY nearly done, hope to get them done soon. Also, I took some Contrast paints and Plaguebearers away on holiday over the summer, so they just need a bit of finishing off too
In exciting news, my upcoming birthday is bringing my first 3D printer, an Ender 3 V2 (so FDM rather than resin) so soon I shall be submerged under a mountain of terrain and tanks etc

Heh
Thankfully I built a man-cave/shed, so the printer and most of the output can live out there, keeping me safe from spousal disapproval...

Such a satisfying feeling when you finish a section of a game! Great job on the stealers but also cracking servitor and bases generally.

Awesome on finishing those Space Hulk bits. If my memory serves, those were the last that were unpainted from the entire game, right? So, whole game is painted now? That is a big accomplishment!

Cheers! Yep, v happy to have ticked it off the list, going to play through it once we have done the main Zombicide campaign.

I will try to remember a group shot

Yep, it's done and dusted, I am stoked!
A long old time ago, I bought various bits and pieces of Plague Marines, to start a Nurgle army. Looking at the box, it turns out that was in 2012! The wheels may turn slowly, but that project is finally getting some attention. First up are some Plaguebearers - These are Heresy "Blight" minis that I picked up in their Kickstarter, also several years ago...
Going with pretty much all Contrast paint for this, the effect is okayish, but satisfyingly quick
Rust and Nurgle's Rot liberally applied to bases and weapons.

Got some more LOTR Rohan very nearly done, they will appear soon
Meanwhile, pending the arrival of my Ender 3 printer, I have started messing around with 3d models.
Here's my first original creation - A Helms Deep wall section for LOTR SBG, based on the instructions in the Journey Books. All my own work with the sole exception of the flagstones on the top.
Next I will have to work out how to chop a chunk out to make the wall section with the culvert in the bottom, then how to model that into a breached/exploded section!

Yeah, it's nice to slap some paint on and not worry about neat lines
Here are some more finished Rohan, needed for the first battle of the fords of Isen:
Erkenbrand foot and mounted (the hated Finecast):
Rohan banner bearer:
And here's the first thing I have printed and painted, a campfire to be used in the LOTR scenario where the Rohirrim attack the Uruk Hai:
It was printed on a slightly too-coarse setting, but if you squint, it looks okay
Got some more 30k Imperial Fists underway, but they are a real slog to paint, I think the accompanying vehicles/dreads will switch to black with yellow accents!

Heresy Imperial Fists are still putting up a fight - Very nearly done now, just the bases to do.

Erkenbrand looks marvelous and I feel ya on the Finecast. Remember picking up the Inquisitor and the Jokaero and the guy behind the counter was like "Let me see first, if the minis are ok, before you pay them."
Campfire looks cool. I think seeing it on the tabletop it looks even nicer, but the big pic holds up!

Cheers! No matter how long you spend cleaning off the bloody little triangles from Finecast models, you will always find a load more when you start painting
I have finally completed my first 5 Phalanx Warders from a unit of 10. Pretty sure some of my Imperial Fists are going to switch to a predominately black scheme, as this yellow takes forever...

From things that take ages to paint, back to "slap some paint on and call it done" - A 3d printed trailer full of barrels:
My 2021 score is now 277, so unlikely to hit one per day for the year, but it's still a possibility!

I found some more Mantic terrain in a box - Built but unpainted.
As I am on a terrain spree, I set about putting that right:
Just a basic dusting of grey spray over black, a few details and rust on the exposed metal bars for the ruined sections, fitting in with the bits I have already done.

It paints up fairly well, and looks okay on the battlefield, but you can never really hide its origins as modular terrain, the connectors etc are quite obvious.

Thanks, all!
Sadly, the inevitable happened and I lost all momentum.
However, in needing to tidy up for Christmas, I managed to get all my WIP bits and pieces finished off:
1) A 3d-printed storage tank thing:
2) A 3d-printed wrecked warhound titan:
3) An MDF building:
4) 7 Plague Marines, made of a variety of bits from Forge World and some 3rd-party makers:
That will probably be it for 2021

Review of the year 2021
The previous years totals were:

2016: 102
2017: 152
2018: 77
2019: 155
2020: 109
This year, based again on my semi-random scoring system, I ended up with a score of 304. Amazingly close to 1 a day, and blowing all previous years out of the water, mostly thanks to the magic of Contrast paints! I am very happy, really made a dent in the pile o' shame.
Here's the breakdown:
LOTR
4 Rohan Outriders
3 Mounted Rohan Outriders
6 Riders of Rohan
Theodred foot and mounted
Rohan captain with axe
12 warriors of Rohan
