I don't know what the pros say about the Blood Angels, but my local friend who resurrected his BA's just recently is finding the codex quite lacking. It may just be his lack of models to spam certain things with.

And you don't get the DC for free. If you compare the inflated other squad costs, the price of the DC models has to be included. They also force an HQ selection if you don't want them to be stupid.

my peeves are people who don't have or bring their rulebooks/codexes and i have to quote their codex rules for them from the store borrowed codex(and core book too)

in addition to them not calculating their army points in some visible way

I hate Ninja-Crisis suits working in tandem with Broadsides, flocking bustards chew through my footslogging slugga boyz all the time with their Dance Dance RAILGUN tactics. Add in Stealth Suits there too.

Also hate that the specific Tau player I'm talking about is such a smug bastard about the fact that only the orks he kills down to the last (never had a single thing alive in the final turn) have gotten more than 3 wounds on his whole army.

The only Space Marine player in our group hates Slugga Boyz with a passion, as these humble 6pt orks have ruined so many battles, including one notorious event where one 21 strong slugga mob wiped out 2 tactical squads, chaplain, razorback and assault marines in 4.5 turns...

We all hate him for being so horribly easy to beat (ie kiting his vindicator so it never shot in 4 turns).

I hate our only CSM player (not personally, just when 40k or D and D is involved), he's fluffy bunny up the god-damned-wahzoo. Fields Daemon prince 2 obliterators and 2X5 man CSM squads and wonders why he keeps folding when the DP takes the guaranteed crap load of fire.

Never paints his models, all second-hand off ebay, painted so he's got Iron Warriors, World Eaters, abaddon and a few Nightlords.

Worst of all he's the opposite of a sore loser; taking so many horrible losses and keeps sitting there grinning and is in no way motivated to improve his playing style or at least take something that competitive players recommend and use it appropriately. I sound bad ranting like this about him, but honest to god it is so infuriating to see someone so happy despite near-constant failure.

I also hate LRPunishers, LR-nillas and all tanks LR in general.

I've got another one. People who don't read the god damn f*cking rules. It's hard enough for a generally new player like myself to remember them all for ME, but now I need to remember them for EVERYONE?? Not fair.

I hate Leman Russ Executioners. They can wreak a lot of damage on horde armies.

That particular battle involved the nob wrecking his Razorback in the first turn, before he even had a turn (small board), actually the nob pretty much took out most of them. Then again he isn't to cunning in his plans, like using combat squads on the tactical units and charging orks instead of making sweet, sweet love to those ap5 bolters....
