Gotta say I hate Godzilla nid lists and Seer councils. The Seer council is just such a no-brain unit. If they're lucky enough, the unit is utterly invincible, and there's nothing they can't kill. Best I can do is have lots of small weak units and hope they can't get their points back [which is illogical now, since they never have to, and can just get kill points and contest objectives, laughing at your feeble attempts to kill them].

Nidzilla I hate because it requires so much to kill each MC. A tank you can get lucky with a meltagun and blow it up with one shot - that will NEVER happen to a MC. And when I had to invest two 10-man squads with 2 meltas each, 2 combi-meltaguns from rhinos, and a 10-man squad with 2 plasmaguns to take TWO wounds off a flyrant, I was pretty annoyed. It couldn't have been allowed to live, and in soaking so much firepower utterly ruined my plans for that turn - the game was downhill after that and I had to squeeze out the win by the skin of my teeth [my immobilized weaponless contesting rhino, that is].

It depends on the army list I am playing.

If I am playing my horde orks, I hate fighting LR spam.
If I am playing my marine bikes, I hate fighting a horde army.

Elaborate please, it seems to me bike armies would be among the best horde fighters, with 2 special weapons and twin-linked bolters, plus mobility only eldar can match, and no army, let along footsloggers, can match.

Land raiders. I could only force a tie last tournament against a GK player who castled in a pair of land raiders... at the 1000 point limit I just couldn't get enough high Str weapons to puncture it (and horrible dice rolling didn't help either). To make things worse, the machine spirit allowed two vehicles to target 4 separate targets, so even my footsloggers were not safe from the fusillade of fire... He would just pop off lascannon shots at my chimmies or russes and then use the h.bolters to hose my footsloggers.

It was a bad day for me.

As for myself, I hate it when there is no challange in the game. I've played 13 year olds at the LGS tournament (random opponent) and tabled them in 3 rounds. Not something to gloat about or be proud of, but for me there's no fun in a game like that.

A few reasons.
* My bike army has lots of meltas, multi-meltas, and plasmas. I could trade out to be more effective when facing horde, but I don't tool my list to be specific opponents.
* TL bolters alone are not enough to kill 150 orks.
* Horde armies can blob over the objectives, preventing me from getting even withing 6" to contest.
* Part of the power of bike armies is to move to where the enemy is not, horde players can cover half the board. This does not help in getting objectives.

I completly agree that is highly annoying and I have no objection to people that tell you the rule to help you out because that is what experience is all about its these ****s you like to show everyone how great they are by knowing the stats of every unit in the game and say it in the sort of way that leaves you imagiing they added 'A deamon prince is WS 7 you stupid ignorant pathetic excuse for a human being.'

As a real life Army Officer that pi55es me right off.

I dont hate armies and/or units caus i find that my "hates" change drastically depending on the army i play, my horde orks are very nervous when theres news of a Russ executioner on the board, and my mech Tau utterly hate attack bikes with multy meltas, i myself dont mind either.

i do however HATE annoying players, especially (being 20 years old) the type that looks down upon younger people, i actually know a guy who tells people younger than him to "shut up" and gives them a reason thats usually on the lines of "Ive been here longer than you, OF COURSE i know better" or in case of the local online forums "im admin, what you think doesnt matter".

I also hate people who play "fluffy bunny" armies and get shocked by the fact that they were beaten by tournament proved armies. Its gotten so bad that in my local shop the tournament sequence has been split in two, one that allows any legal army, and one that bans armies that are considered "hard stuff", funny fact is that it does not only matter how the army is set up, it also matters who plays it, as was evident during the last tournament.

Another thing that annoys me is sore loosers, they dont bother me as such, but they definitely get on my nerves, the type that goes:
"Urgh, of course my army lost, i suck, Imperial guard suck, they CANT win, its just how it is, THEY-CANT-WIN"
you get the picture

"They'll never know what hit em"

Nurgle was a mere blight upon this creature. It was horrific. His nickname at one point was "Her slithering sliding ladyship Funkahontas" (the slithering sliding bit was snake references... he was a lieing git )

I see alot of hate for people who aren't familiar with their codex...as someone who got back into the hobby recently, sorry :( but hey, at least i know where 1) the summaries are and 2) where the fecking index is. Looking up rules is annoying, but don't flick through that fat son of a bitch rulebook when theres a fecking index that tells you the exact page you're looking for!

I have the exact opposite problem. My dreadnoughts never stay on the table.... Top of turn 1: opponent going first,
"I shoot these lootas at your venerable dread...."
"2 hits, 1 pen, roll your obscure save.... "

If the type of player is included in this thread, then I hate the condescending "old schooler" that mysteriously quotes rules that don't sound right... so when we look them up he goes "oh that must have been from a previous edition."

This player is also a master at "forgetting" to bring up rules until it serves his purpose (oh, I forgot to roll FnP for those guys that were with the Mad Dok, I'll do that now ok?) and then that player gets pissed when you tell him that too bad, its too late. He then goes on to rules lawyer at every opportunity and all you can do is grin and bear it... while marking a big fat 0 on his sportsmanship score.
