I know a guy who looks just like Spike and he's mega hot. I'll see if I can get a pic at some point
Sometimes it's good to have ridiculous fantasy material. I find that the women I hook up with are typically not uber hot (though I've had a few notable exceptions ) because I focus more on if they know what they're doing and it's fun to imagine otherwise sometimes. Who doesn't love the cougars Put a gun to my head and ask me to choose between an average looking real girl or an over the top fake one and I think my choice is going to be pretty obvious.

+1 for Belldandy.
It was a cartoon but never a comic (At least I don't think it was) but I've gotta say Kiva from Megas Xlr.

Yeah, I'd never heard of her before Teen titans (TV) and it was when I was looking into their back storys one day on Wiki that I found the comic book version of her.
@Mannahnin - of course, but I find art (comic characters and fantasy/Sci-fi stuff) attractive on its own merit. It's all pure fantasy to me, and I wouldn't expect or need any of what are in these drawings to be real.

Heh, Cosplayers, aye some of them do an admirable job.
I'll admit I'm one of the ones who rolled their eyes when Hugh Jackman says 'would you rather we where in Spandex' line in X-men.
Yes Hugh, yes I would. Well maybe not Hugh, although blue and yellow would have been awesome, even for him.

i didn“t liked that line too as i think with it they ridiculed what? 30 years of comic history?
we all know it is not a clever idea to wear ones underwear over your tights but its waht these characters were born like. and i for my part loved those days when you could read a happy ending in each comic book. i like the grimer versions out now too, mind you but still...
and there are a fair share of awsome cosplayers to be seen here on the webs...

I like Brown as well, I just said yellow and blue as its more iconic.
When I was collecting X-men and Uncanny every month though, he was mostly in the brown, so its the one I do remember fondly.
Back on topic.
Did someone say Cosplay.
oh and oddly, I always had a thing for Tarot and Roulette, if I'm honest one of the biggest things I remember from comics and any mdeia in the early nineties was Fitzroy's attack on the Hellions.
Tarots final scene (well at that point and for a long while at least) was burned into my mind for ages. Totally shocked me.
Love that uniform as well, tried to use it as a SoB colour scheme once, was a poor attempt.
Now I'm more confidant, I'm thinking about using it for my Banshees, that or Morrigann's leggings.

...Hmmm, The Yellow/Blue Wolverine was the Wolverine I "started with",but read X-Men for quite a while and like the Brown/Orange Wolvie as well.
Also...cosplay Starfire...
And my personal favorite...

Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about his religion. Respect others in their views and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life. Beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and of service to your people. When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.

Guys, please be careful of what you post. Nudity is still nudity even in the presence of body paint. Keep in mind that we will suspend people for posting nude images or images that are otherwise inappropriate for a family-friendly site.
Other than that, good thread! My comic crush was Dark Phoenix Jean Grey. Gotta love the redheads.

not picking a fight, i apologize for my image... which yes had body paint in it, but i figured there was enough coverage to have be okay. but i feel like we found this thread's gray area? body paint is bad.... but barely contained boobs, art or costume.... is still okay?? sorry to spoil the fun guys.
