Limitless. 6.5/10
Guy becomes super smart using a new drug and gets into various forms of trouble.
Quite enjoyable actually.
Knocking off points for several plots holes and a slightly rushed ending but overall worth a watch.

Frontieres is a good french movie about these guys who stay in a hostel in the countryside on their way to amsterdam. The hostel is ran by a cult-like family of cannibals.
As for OP's question, I just watched resident evil afterlife, how is that guy still allowed to make movies that are based on games, but are nothing similar to them?

Yeah, It's French, watched it for the second time on netflix last week.
Started pretty strong, but sort of fizzled for me near the end...still worth a look if you enjoy the genre.

Just watched this little "gem" last night.
It's "based on a true story" so it's all the more "scary"..
Overall, pure B- movie funcrap...

Just watched "The Green Hornet". It could have been better. Especially if Seth Rogen wasn't in it. I really don't like his style of comedy, and they should have made the green hornet more of a "Joe Friday" (dragnet) kind of guy, like the original.
Of course, seeing as how Seth Rogen was credited with exec. producer and a whole bunch of other jobs, he probably decided to cast himself.

A knights tale
quality film, my parents went to see it when it first came out and decided to educate myself and my sis in good films, so we reluctantly agreed on the condition that we got to choose the next film(dr strangelove). a knights tale is just quality start to finish

After the first Gulf War a group of soliders set out to find gold bullion hidden by the remnants of Saddams army.
Had a great style to it, well paced, dark humour, likeable characters.

A Town Called Panic. What you get when you cross animation with Monty Python. The only word to describe is silly, but being into silly humour, especially crossbows that fire unlimited numbers of swordfish, it was damn enjoyable. 9/10 Shaolin Soccer. Budget Taiwanese movie about a group of under-dog football players, each with his own martial arts power, making them a great team again. Another silly movie, lost in translation quite a lot but definitely a good lads night movie. 8/10 Troll 2. God it deserves the hate. Why anyone thought it was a good idea should give up. That said, another lads night movie, with lots of laughs due to sheer rediculousness. Girls? Hahahah. 4/10 300. Pure action, loved it, we all cheered when the most famous line was said. Divided opinion on whether it was truly good or not, I thought it was well made, different Sin City style with some brilliant action in it. 8/10 District 9. Probably one of my favorite movies of all time. The first half is just amazing. Sure, the second half was a little bit too actiony, but the ending was great. One of the few films where you can sympathize with the non-human protagonist over the human one. 9/10

Just saw Battle Los Angeles the other night. Really liked it, but I had low expectations thinking it was gonna be a cheesy lamefest but there was lots of action and the effects were great. Story was basic but still good enough to keep you interested. Felt more like a war movie than a sci fi movie, like the beginning of saving private ryan, but for 2 hours.

I just saw Battle Los Angeles as well, and I agree with you...not a "great" movie, but much better than I expected it to be.
Most recently watched film would Be "Colin", a very low budget zombie film ( big surprise there huh...) that is amazingly well done.
The movie, as I said, was obviously shot on a shoe string budget, and tells the tale of a young man in London during a zombie outbreak.
As the film opens, he (Colin) has been bitten, and the film follows his activites as he becomes one of the walking dead and joins the roaming hordes of zombies outside...
The film itself is not much in the way of "Boom!Bang!POW!" action ( though there are several "fight scenes") dealing much more with "Life" as a zombie..
It's pretty dark and gritty, but has some funny moments ( although dark) and was quite interesting as a zombie film from the zombies POV....
If you enjoy the genre I highly recommend giving this film a go.

Lost Horizon, the 2001 remastered version with 24 minutes of restored footage that were cut during WW2 because of the pacifist message.
For seven minutes of the running time they have the whole soundtrack but the vision has been totally lost, so they filled in with stills and production photos in several scenes.
