Are all metal models going to be replaced?!
Including the old IG models?
I'm going to miss the manliness of putting many metal Catachans on the table..

No offence, but I don't like resin. It's cheap, it breaks too easy and when left in the sunlight it turns to dust!
I refused to play other games, because they had resin models...

I decided to collect metal IG because it's stronger and more durable then plastic or resin.
(I've a little brother, little sister, cats, rabbits walking around the house, so it happens that something drops or gets stepped on...)

Besides that, the old metal models look more cool in my eyes, although this can vary form person to person...
The Valhallans, Steel Legions, 2th edition Cadians even the Mordians and Tallarns are better looking then their plastic counterparts.
Sure, I got a lot of plastic, but that is because plastic is cheaper and I didn't know how easily those things break...

I think I'm going to be very sad when GW replaces all metal models.
Does anyone have a date when this will happen?

Overall Record W-L-D = 22-24-15
Bataviran 197th/222nd Catachan "Iron Wolves", arrogant, dedicated and ruthless!
Captain Detlev Vordon, regimental commander.
Colonel Vladimir Russki, regimental commander 222nd Catachan.

I got some news on the new stuff yestarday. The manager of my local gw says that it is deffinatly not resin, it is a bit like resin/plastic. Apparently it is not poison at all. Apparently when you drop a model made of it, it does not brake.. And apparently it looks much better than what is seen in the pictures.

Oh and metal models are not going completly but they will be direct order

I would miss metal if it was gone from the industry, I won't miss GW metal as it was of poor quality (heavy mold lines, etc...) and hard to work with (pewter with lead over white metal any day). So farewell stuf I wouldn't buy welcome stuff I won't buy and keep the metal rollin' everywhere else.
