It's actually impossible for a sculptor to make a female mini in a full uniform or suit of armour. However hard they try, the end result always winds up being a lingerie model or a stripper. It isn't their fault, it's just some terrible and poorly understood universal phenomenon, similar to spontaneous human combustion only vastly more common. At least, that's what the evidence seems to suggest. i could be wrong. It could be that nobody ever actually tries, and the miniature wargaming community at large rewards ridiculously dressed hypersexualised sculpting of female characters and so that's what sculptors keep turning out? Or maybe that the majority of sculptors themselves feel that's what female miniatures "ought" to look like. Frankly, I prefer my initial theory.

And the vast abondance of very tall, hard as steel & over musculated men where our actual population tend to be overweight, sick & shrunken doesn't seem to choc anyone...

But as always it's a question of taste! I do like the fact that nobody did say anything on that in the french boards.

But you can always engage someone to produce miniature of woman in full armor which look exactly like the avarage masculin one and satisfied some people!

Not wishing to overly promote another company in warforge's thread, but Hasslefree have some good examples.

Pardon the necro, but I got my mini today! Excellent casting quality, sturdy resin has been used for the model with no holes or bubbles, just some flash. The model is as good as advertised and both Warforge and Eurobitz receive a pat on the back for their good work.

Another necro, but I got my order from EuroBitz today after seeing this post with the Wizz & Wigg squig. I was suprised to recieve my order in under 4 days from France to the U.S. The cast is perfect with hardly even a mold line. Hope to see more from EuroBitz!

well now this thread has been well and truly necroed anyway I might as well ask: will the tolosae cannon be coming back into stock again? ever?

Just to thanks you about you warn return on Warforge and Eurobitz.

In the disorder:
-May be one day there will be a retailer in the US, it will be a very great acknowledgement of our product quality. Until then, just the boring old world can provide you Warforge stuff.
-The Tolosae Canon will be back, it has some production issues that we are currently fixing and it will be available in large quantities soon. (Surely in May)
-The weapon bitz seen on another subject will be available soon as well (May as well). This time was bad luck, the french post has lost the parcel with the original printing...
-Eurobitz has received 50 Viktoria. We will be receiving more soon.

And so, I hope to come back here very soon...
