Well some terrain updates. Got the green flock on. Almost ready to be clear coated to give it extra protection.

Now to find a table around the house to play on top of, Probably gonna have to build a table to put this up in my model room. My 6'x30" is not big enough to hold the stuff up right. And some final pictures unless I build a table for my battleboard.

Now onto the C'tan. I have had the hardest time debating on what color to actually paint this model. Would love some feedback on how to match my army well but give it an accent.

Nice, nice! Can I reccommend doing another layer of flocking on the board when its all connected so the grass looks more relistic and uniform? the fact that it stops in some squares and starts in another in some places looks a little unrealistic. Apart from that, your works are looking fantastic! Look forward to seeing the shard finished up!

Yea I plan on using a bit more flock but I want different colors of grass in areas. I see some areas that need some more green and will put that on by hand but its not gonna happen till after new years. Have a friend coming into town to play a few games. Hope to take some pictures and maybe even a bat rep.

So this came on a larger base than I was expecting but I ordered another base for it that will come in a few weeks. I didn't paint the necron coming out of the ground with it yet because I was just wanting to do a little bit of painting today. So without further ado here is the ctan.

That looks awesome! Is there a way you could put dimensions and cuts of wood as well as materials used on there?

The table is 3' tall. I wanted something easy to reach over during games instead of being a really tall table.
For the table top: I used 3 pieces of MDC particle board. It was supposed to be 48"x24" but it was 49.5" by 24" so my table is a little wider than needed. I measured everything than cut out the base boards from 4x8 pieces of wood. So I ended up with a nice rectangular frame. Then I cut 2 more support beams to go where the seems of the mdc where going to go.
Made a crude drawing below in ascii. If anything isn't quit clear I wouldn't mind taking more pictures or telling you more information.

For the Legs.
I cut 4 pieces of 4"x8 for the legs on the long side. I cut 4 pieces of 2"8 on the shorter sides to make the legs in a L shape. I glued and nailed the L shape together for the legs. After the legs dried glued together and nailed togther I screwed them into the inside of the table with 4 screws, 2 on each side. Automatically Appended Next Post: I like how it came out as well!
