Thanks, Cappy and Inquisitor. I appreciate it. I am, in fact, very happy with it considering that I didn't think I cuold pull it off to begin with. Can't wait to get the next set of pics up.

Ok, next set of Pics, but first, a side project. This is the back of my chair at my worktable, I am engraving it into the resin and it is difficult. Jees, I am easily distracted.

Ok, the Reaver:
A little more interior detail, I realized when taking this picture that I forgot the left side weapons power and control conduit plug in jacks. Darn it!!!:

The top trim is on:

The interior is almost done, here it is put together:

A walk around:

And the head again:

Allright that's it for today. Tell me what you think.

Akira, Archaon, VikingScott, Commander Cain and Horst: Thank you so very much. I am, also, impressed with how IT is turning out. Yeah, sure it started out as twins, but at a certain point this one became the focus. Mainly because I know that the other one will be turning out very different from this point on. AHEM.....
Spoiler:
Nurgle, anyone? Pumped full of tiger blood and STILL Winning!!!!

Yes that's right, the twin is the bad twin, and oh, boy, do I intend her to be one bad .

Oh, and Viktor, I did the interior because I wanted to see if I could. Yes, it will be viewable. in that the main carapace will be removeable just like on the FW.

YES I AM BUILDING THE WEAPONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far, looks pretty sweet, I'm looking forward to the weapons.

Personally, I would like to see some more outer detail, as with the head, rivets and "shins". Those look great, and if you can do that with the rest of the Titan, it will look marvelous

Oh, no worries. I intend the detail to be prolific on these.

one question...as i never have worked with plasticcard and created a good result ... what glue do you use and how do you glue the material together in the curved points?

Made in us
Oozing Plague Marine Terminator

Well, that's not exactly uncomplicated because it depends on the type or severity of curve. But, since you are not the first to ask, I plan on putting up a tutorial on some of these pieces in this thread once this Reaver is complete and I have to work on MY NURGLE!!!!!!!

Ok, so I got through the inner front top carapace and main carapace (both shapes), void shield projectors and even did a test on the banners for the top of the extended main carapace:
Void shield projectors are magnetized as well.

The extended main carapace from the new version is still curing so it's still not trimmed or magnetized but will be today. I decided that since I couldn't decide which one I liked better I was gonna make both for each Reaver.

The paint job on this test is crap but it proves the methodology for creating the carapace decorations is sound, incredibly sound imho.

I really wanted this to be built as closely to FW specs so I had to put this detail under the front inner carapace.

Now that the carapaces are in place I can begin to finish all the exterior detail on the main hull. That will include the shoulders and weapons mounts. Yes, there will be nifty looking aquilas on the mounts. The shoulder pads will probably be after that then I will finish the toe, shin and knee guards.

And, of course, everything will have more rivets.

I get to pick up my Chaos Landraider tonight. And the Pelican Rifle case I am gonna use for my Titans. I am hoping that, with another Chaos battleforce at the end of the month, that by end of February I can have a fieldable 40K Chaos Army. This will require me to scratch out three more Rhinos, two more Land raiders, at least three Vindicators and/or Predators. Shoot, I may do three of each. In my experience with Rhinos:

I have found that The Vindicators and Predators will be easy. I hope. Then I will need Obliterators and Defilers and Demon Princes and.... Oh well, you get the idea.....

the decoration piece... is that folded plasticcard? how? this needs a lot more a tut than you might realize^^

as for your current update... wow...busy working guy you are!

and your scratchbuilding agenda is really big... to say the least...

and i see a crapload of rivets in a hailstorm coming your way... how will you do them? sliced rods or holepunch rivtes?

Made in us
Oozing Plague Marine Terminator

Las Vegas, Nevada

Yes, that is folded Plasti-card in .020 thickness.

Sliced Rod. I don't have a punch that will do all the sizes I need, but I gotta crap ton of Rod. LOL.

I may be doing another one of these in February for my buddy that is helping bankroll the table project. If I do I will do an indepth Tutorial. I promise.

Yes, I have a lot o' crap to scratch. I have faith that the end of February will see me begin to learn to paint, live and in person right here on the DakkaDakka!

Everything is looking great! I can't believe that folded plasticard banner! Awesome!

I also just noticed that your location says Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. Are you in the Army? Or a dependant? I was there in the Summer of 1990 for basic training! What a crap hole!

Yeah the banner actually turned out to be easier than I thought or could have hoped it would. I just had to be very careful with the folds because thin plasti-card will snap easily. My heatgun came in very handy for this at first but the plasit-card got too hot and I had to re-start and just pay more attention to what I was doing. I actually had to repair a fold on the banner I pictured and it came out really well. Can you tell which fold was repaired?

I am military, will retire soon actually, to Las Vegas.

Viktor Von Domm wrote:with all this many vehicles... will you be doing that via airbrush? i think that amount qualifies for such an investion...

No, no airbrush. Tried it years ago on a skateboard and sucked major butt at it. Actually, maybe for the large scale painting I will invest in a cheap model. I need an air compressor anyway. Not only have I never painted a model before, I have never BUILT an out of the box model before.

The only model I have ever built other then what I have been showing on the DakkaDakkas was a balsa wood biplane when I was 12.

And I did a horrible job on it. (That is not the one I built. LOL)

Thanks to everyone for looking in and AS ALWAYS your comments and suggestions will be well received. I am already re-looking several of the things I have done to take certain advice I have received into account and the model will most certainly be better for it. Thanks, again, guys. I feel welcome here.
