I'm enjoying the wonderful redundancy of the suggestions of Fantasyhammer 40K. Perhaps the next edition could be Warfantasyhammer 40K 40K.
Personally, I shall be calling it 6th, since I already called 5th Steve, and they'd get confused.

Honestly, I'm gonna call this version of WH40k 6th, 6e, 6th edition, or some variation depending on what sounds right. Where the specific edition is not necessary to mention, I'm gonna call it WH40k, 40k, Warhammer 40k, Warhammer 40,000, or something like that.
Just like I called 5th edition 5e, or 4th edition 4e, or 3rd edition... well, when I played in 3e, I didn't really know about editions, so I just called it 40k...
I don't have any nickname planned out for 6th edition, and while a lot of the stuff in this thread has given me some very nice laughs - in a good way - I don't see that changing for me. I have come to call some WH40k stuff by a nickname, like the Stormraven (I call it the Chibi-hawk cause it looks like a stubby, short Thunderhawk, and it's fun to say, though that nickname was something I read on a forum somewhere), but... I got nothing for 6e.

Indeed. Though frankly where I can find a few hundred catgirls suitable for conversion into IG is something of a mystery...
