Like to see how they got away with that.
TM is just a claim of trade mark, not an actual successful registration. It's hilariously unenforceable in this case.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better. |

It would be quite funny to see GW try to sue the tourist board of Israel.

"The 75mm gun is firing. The 37mm gun is firing, but is traversed round the wrong way. The Browning is jammed. I am saying "Driver, advance." and the driver, who can't hear me, is reversing. And as I look over the top of the turret and see twelve enemy tanks fifty yards away, someone hands me a cheese sandwich." |

Logo_WH40KAS2 How did you start working on this game? >>> We’ve known Games Workshop for nearly 15 years but for a long time it was not possible to work together because of THQ having the exclusive license. When things changed and GW decided to start splitting the IP in to smaller chunks we were very happy to put some ideas in to them and Armageddon is the first title we’re working with them.
What is it like working with games workshop and the warhammer 40k universe?
>>> Games Workshop are a great partner and the IP is perfect. Its so rich and interesting there is so much to play with.GW really care about their games and their IP and it makes the whole process enjoyable and rewarding.
Will we see famous figures from the conflict like commissar yarrick, ghazghkull thraka?
>>> Absolutely yes. There are also a number of other important figures such as Commander Dante, Herman von Strab, Mannheim, Commander Tu’Shan and more.
Will the game cover the entire war from the first ork landing to the final victory outside of hive hades?
>>> The game covers the entire 2nd battle for Armageddon so there will be battles on the wastelands, jungles and at hives.
Will we see famous engagements from the books and lore?
>>> Yes you will – if you know the history this game will be full of it. The team has put a huge amount of time into researching it and I think they are now the foremost experts on Armgeddon !
Troops will carryover from missions and will gain equipment and experience how much will this play a role in the game? will troops get better throughout the game if they live past their first few battles, will we regret losing a unit that has been with us from the start of the game?
>>> Your units are persistent and their experience carry’s over. The more experienced they are the better they perform in combat. You can also personalise the equipment of each squad. For example we have around 300 units and 13 variants of a Leman Russ tank !
Armageddon is renowned as a harsh world full of dangerous terrain, polluted wastelands, and a massive jungle, will these environments play a role in the gameplay harming or hindering troops of an unwary commander, and how important is it to capture the dangerous and polluted nature of this worlds terrain?
>>> Yes the terrain will play a huge role in the battles. Some will be impassable to certain unit types and others may allow you to pass but damage units. You also have a range of defence bonuses for the different terrain giving a rich variety of environments and game play.
There has been some talk that there might be a Beta has there been anything official on that yet?
>>> Yes we almost certainly launch a beta in July sometime.
There was a boardgame and a number of books on the second war for Armageddon What sources have you drawn the most from?
>>> We’ve got everything and we’ve had to piece it all together and then we propose how we see it to GW who review our ideas and critique them before we have a final plan for how each mission will look.
How in depth will the editor be, will we be able to make our own missions and maps?
>>> Yes there will be a full scenario editor and you’ll be able to make your own campaigns and add new units if you have the ability to create the art.
When will we be seeing more information on Armageddon?
>>> As we get closer to release you’ll see more and more info become available.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
