There are just so many great weapons, I cant decide! Part of the trouble is also having to consider the carrier of the weapon. There are plenty of great weapons, but they are wielded by such point inefficient models it makes them useless, or some guns that are extremely good because of their carrier. For example, twin linked lascannons on a Valkyrie surpass many weapons in the game, but twin linked lascannons on a land raider... not so much.

Overall though, I think I will have to go with the melta. It can destroy tanks, double out T4, and if you like you can assault or lay down rapid fire goodness. If your plan is to rush the enemy position then the range is not much of a drawback.
