I imagine such a list might have a bit better odds since it has an easy means of grounding the Tyrants for the hoard to tie-up in melee (not to mention said hoard might limit your mobility a bit with their massive footprint and the rules for flyer movement).

Unfortunately, for some reason, there are not a whole lot of ork players in my area. The 2 ork players that I know are more casual players and not really competitive. The next time I see him, I can ask, but I'm not sure if he would want to play against a 5-flyrant list.

Now I have some orks myself, but I just don't have enough models to field a truly competitive Ork list, nor do I have enough experience as an ork player to do so well.
