So, I'm up to level 10 and thought I'd do a stock-take of where the character is (and compare him to my previous characters):
Redguard
Birthsign: Warrior (very common for my characters but do have a few others)
Class: Assassin (All my other characters are custom)
Blade weapons (most of my characters use blades as they are generally lighter = carry more loot)
Light armour (I'll come back to armour later...)
*compared to my first character that has been and done everything (an Orc that favours blunt weapons and heavy armour)
Total Health: 206 (compared to 487)
Total Magic: 70 (128, my Orc was not a very magical chap)
Total Fatigue: 250 (412)
Level: 10 (36 for the Orc, the highest for any of my characters but only by a few)
In 17 days (or 14 hours 41 minutes) he has completed 7 quests,
The Orc managed 174 quests in 377 days (321 hours 17 minutes) and has found every place there is a marker for.
Stolen 35 items and pick-pocketed 1 item (I don't even have anywhere to get rid of them yet)
The Orc stole 6945 items and pp'ed 146 things.
24 assaults and no murders so far...
The Orc: 438 assaults and 41 murders (the highest for all my characters by a long way)
138 creatures killed and 48 people...
The Orc: 3646 creatures and 1660 people (where all these people come from is beyond me)
65 locks picked compared to the Orc's 947.
No oblivion gates closed yet as I haven't started that quest line yet.
The Orc closed 47...
Coming back to armour, there is an equal spread of light to heavy between my past characters, however, the last 3 are all wearing enchanted clothes instead of armour.
While they all have sets of clothes for resisting or reflecting magic and damage (totals ranging from 60-90%) and sets for feather and chameleon, they all have a set with the element shield enchantments (fire, frost, shock).
This reminded me that those enchantment don't just protect you from the specific element, but also damage in the same way as armour.
That means once you can enchant items with 25% (fire, frost, shock) shield, which is more than you can for just shield (I think)... (this is likely though using the sigil stones).
Give them 3 items (shoes, trousers, shirt) and give them a shield with a rating of at least 10... you reach the maximum armour score of 85. You don't need armour. And without all that heavy armour, you can carry loads of loot...
Just thought I'd throw that out there as I had forgotten it.
