Only played 40k once and Silver Tower twice in the last couple of months, not played much this year at all.

Battletech oddly enough. Never thought I'd ever play though.

Thought for the day: Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.
30k Ultramarines: 2000 pts
Bolt Action Germans: ~1200 pts
AOS Stormcast: Just starting.
The Empire : ~60-70 models.
1500 pts

Is Captain America in those ruins?

Sigh. Yeah.
First two models I had to make when I started Bolt Action were the WW2 version of Cap and Red Skull - kept my lad playing BA for a while. Lol.

Sorry... derailing this great thread now.

Currently most played: Silent Death, Mars Code Aurora, Battletech, Warcrow and Infinity.

I was *this* close to arranging some gaming this summer, but Hertfordshire be Hertfordshire, and now it looks like I'll be going another 6+ months without getting in a game. Been 12 months already...

Still far, far away from my planned MEdge game.

Nothing for me lately. I am kind of in a limbo and transitional phase in my life (and the life of my friends). I just moved into a house, but my usual group of friends can't really get together for any type of regular game. I have decided to get back into 40k after a very long time away, as I know the my LGS has a scene of some sort, but I've never seen anyone playing it there.

You are a good dad!
I get in X-wing at home, any time the kids see a SW movie of some type they say "I wish I could be X" and I would say "I have that".
Then the game gets set-up and I have to figure out a way to balance the toys for each of the ships and make a scenario.
It works great but I need to paint up some "special" models like you did to better represent the heroes.

We just finished a Path to Glory 40k campaign. Prior to that we were playing some classic Battletech. And it was mostly just 40k before that.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

When people ask, "What's the point in understanding everything?" they've just disqualified themselves from using questions and should disappear in a puff of paradox. But they don't understand and just continue existing, which are also their only two strategies for life.

Mk3 dropped. Back on the Warmachine train, and I am glad. The game is very good.

Infinity and Kingdom Death are my current games of choice, although X-wing keeps getting attention, seems I like skirmish level games more than big games, which might be an issue with all the Heresy era minis I'm prepping...
