I think the kill-sats are from Ground Zero but what about the Tau ships?

Thanks!
I needed a heavier Tau ship for the eventual order of battle we hammered out, so I took a Brigade Indonesian cruiser and added bits from the Dropfleet UCM frigate sprue. Reasonably happy with it. I'm trying to evolve a hybrid aesthetic between the two ranges.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Most notably I like the downward spires from DFC, though I'm not sure about the choice of putting them on the nose.

Tau Fleet!
Agricultural shps/Demiurg
I think the larger one needs a little city on top of it. Maybe a press molding from some of my Spacefleet stuff.
Flagship. I see it as a lighter exploration/merchant ship that has stuff added to it as an awkward conversion to a more powerful unit.

Looks like we're going to get to do a BFG campaign, so I'm putting together a tau fleet, something like
1-2 explorers (Brigade indonesian carriers)
1-2 Custodian (Drop Fleet commander's USM cruisers)
1-3 Emissaries ( DFC frigates)
3 Heroes (seems to be the go to ship, Brigade Indoensian heavy carriers)
3 Defenders.
I couldn't resist getting a bunch of other BFG compatible stuff from brigade, including their Iron Stars figures....
Not my paint job.
I'm imaginging a rouge trader campaign where you travel the stars, meet interesting spaceships, and pillage them. These would be some uncontacted human star farers or the like.

You know, sails. I love space sales. Need more. Also they have portholes!

They are good - not as detailed as BFG stuff generally, but great spaceships overall. Size wise their heavy cruisers are about 2/3 the size of a GW cruiser.
Not sure about the Iron Stars ships - Haven't gotten them yet.
Some pics for anyone not in the Taros Thread:

Thanks everyone - pure luck on the escorts fitting on the back. But it is still alive in the BFG campaign, for now at least!
So it turns out I was disappointed by the Brigade heavy cruisers - there was no more detail than in the destroyers - just blown up to a larger size through the magic of 3D computer design I think. The result is that they are really underwhelming and will need quite a bit of conversion to meet my standards for BFG ships, which should above all look huge, which requires lots of tiny details.
On the other hand, the Iron stars ships met my expectations and even exceeded them a bit. Here's my first, with my new favorite paint, Gryph Charger Grey (Contrast), for I-Walker's Rogue Trader Flotilla (Light Cruiser counts as)
Automatically Appended Next Post: I will say the Brigade Indonesian Light cruisers are quite nice. Automatically Appended Next Post: Wait, the Long Fall is now Complete!!???!!!

I know! It's been sitting on my PC 99% done for ages. But I finally pushed through.
Just in time for a new project to hit me.
Anyway I do like the Iron Stars ships, I'm always looking for space ships that offer more than the 'generically futurey' look that's dominated since the late 70s. I want more fanciful ships like Space Fleet or the old Terran Trade Authority books.

Yup, all Brigade, though with a fair amount of conversion, mostly with nails and DFC ships.
The frigates are nice, though I like them better with my additions. I'm trying to make one into a... ...Torpedo RAM!

Thanks!
I made some ordinance markers for tau. Not sure they are worth the trouble, but I drew mantas and baracudas, shrunk them down, copied them on transparency paper, painted the back white, glued them to clear bases, and painted the drive flare.
Automatically Appended Next Post: The glue is a bit of a downer. I think if I cut the transparency paper to the same size as the base it would be less noticeable.
