Top ones are Necron Spider bits, the bottom two are Eldar Dreadnought/ Wraithlord arms.
The bit in the middle with the red is an old Starcanon.

A tomb Spyder to be specific, but it looks like you only have two back plates and four pairs of legs. As for the tab, yeah that's pretty hard to read. Maybe try taking a rubbing of it? It looks like the letters are raised rather than carved in, so it should be fairly easy to do with a sticky note and a regular pencil.

The tab appears to say “ASIAN”.
Probably not GW is my guess.

When it was a metal model with the big domed head canopy. So does the starcannon. The other bits are old 40k necron tomb spider bits.

I love it too, but I can't take credit. I apologize for any misunderstanding, but that's just a photo I picked out from a quick search for Tomb Spyder in the dakka gallery. My Necron scheme is nothing fancy. Just a royal blue with gold trim and silvery metal. I'd probably be embarrassed to post it here because I only ever got the lord to table ready state. Automatically Appended Next Post: Part of the problem with identifying that model is the chipping black primer and what appears to be old glue on the tab. The primer coating makes it a bit hard to pick out detail and the whatever that is on the tab is obscuring the letters.

The plastic guardians were first made in a push together format with lasguns.
The metal bits were to replace the lasguns with shuriken catapults.
(In 2nd ed, the standard weapon for them was the humble lasgun, and up to half your squads could be upgraded to the other weapon.
The Dark Reapers were the 1990 first edition version.
The warp spiders date back to 2nd edition (they did not exist in 1st ed) and they STILL look like that (they have not redone this aspect since).
The guardians on the bottom were metal bodies with plastic arms and weapons (the weapons were separately sprued) and you could customise them with a flamer, melta gun, shuriken catapult or lasgun. Or a variety of pistols and ccw. They were first released for RT (1st ed 40k).

With Ragnar replaced, does that make them the oldest 40k models in production?

Oldest single mini is Njal in power armour. Oldest mini as part of a set is the Thunder Warrior in the armour through the ages set.

Second guy on the bottom is an undead/vampire counts ghoul, from about 1999, 2000. Probably ghoul no. 6, missing his bone.
Short guy on the right is Bandobras 'Bullroarer' Took, inventor of the game of golf, on foot, from GW's Lord of the Rings line.
What Nevelon identifies as a demon of Slaanesh is exactly that, from 1989. 'Designed by Jes Goodwin and Mike Perry' - that thing's got pedigree, son.
The centaur-thing is a chaos beastman centigor.
The headless guy interests me. Any idea what it says on the base tab?

Old GW. Mostly old Cadians, but the two on the left side of the picture are Necromunda Gangers I think, though the one in front might be a Catachan officer.
The three guys with flat helms and different guns are old inquisitorial (3rd gen) stormtroopers. The one with a boltgun on his chest and a plasma pistol in hand is a Sgt.
The one in the back row furthest to the right looks like an original RT guard model with autogun.
The two kneeling Cadians appear to be the crew of an old Lascannon heavy weapon. The key to that is the las charge pack hanging from the left side ones hip, though it's hard to see from this picture.
The old Cadian with his left hand at his waist I believe to be a Sgt with Las, while the one with his right hand up and left hand bolter is a Sgt with boltgun. The Fat guy with military cap and shotgun is the old Cadian Captain or Lt.

The guys in the back left with oval bases, excluding the larger one in the very back left with the cross on his shirt, are tiny models made in china. I remember getting them for something like 25/50 cents each at a small toy store when I was a kid. Have a whole collection of them tucked away somewhere... Like 4-5 of each model they ever made.
I have confirmed that the guy in the back left of the previous picture is a house Delaque ganger, probably whatever passes for a Sgt among Necromunda models.
I think I just realized why I'm having trouble placing the guy in the front left of the previous picture! If you look closely, his body and left arm are exactly the same as the Delaque behind him, but his head appears to be Catachan and his right arm look to be holding binoculars, which is very odd. My best guess is that he is a well modified version of the guy behind him with a GW Catachan head and an unknown binocular arm. It could be GW as well, but I don't recognize it from any metal IG model in my memory.
Back to the lot in the above photo, all the lighter metal models on larger oval bases look like old Ral Partha or Grenadier models. The bases should have some info on the bottom.
I looked around and couldn't find the knight I was talking about, so I don't know.

They're a mix of some old RT "Imperial Army", "Imperial Guard" and 2nd ed Metal cadians and storm troopers (those stormtroopers did start in 2nd ed, even if they persisted into 3rd ed until being replaced by the metal kasrkin).
There's a few Cadian Sgt models in that group as well.
