I have been tooling around with the idea of making an Ork Battlefortress for some time. At first i was planning on copying the Forgeworld model, but then I had a brainstorm. Orks like to copy things that are to their liking. What if I made a tank that looked like a leman russ, but BIGGER? basically, just scaled up but about 60%.

Well good luck on that then.Russes dont really fit for fortressess though i think. It has a clearly defined shape of a tank.
By that i mean it doesnt really have any space where to add room for your boyz.A land raider for example not only has the insides, but can easily be built upwards.Chimera?Same thing.
Although i would be interested how you would pull that off
Why not just make it a stormsword with space in it? ROFL WAFFLE

what you could do is get the land raider tracks and turn them backwards, then they look perfectly like the russ tracks. then just build up with plasticard, add lots of area for people to hang on to and add lots of rivets, you can never have too many rivets
